The 2006 "Alabama Tandem Weekend" will be held in Enterprise, Alabama, home of your hosts Hal and Judy Yarbrough. Enterprise is in the heart of the Wiregrass region of Southeast Alabama and is a small town of about twenty thousand residents. Three days of sharing great daily rides with nice people who understand the joys and experience of wanting to be on a bicycle. Enterprise has many fine restaurants for dining ­ some only a short driving distance & others within walking distance of the host hotel.Good riding, good food, and good people in a great place.

SCHEDULE: Friday evening offers a chance to visit and snack with other tandem teams at the host hotel's hospitality room. Lunch on Saturday will be on your own at the grounds of the Piney Woods Arts Festival. This is a juried show presented by the Coffee County Arts Alliance that attracts artists from throughout the Southeast. There will also be a flower show and antique car display. Security for tandems will be provided so you can browse the displays after lunch. On Saturday evening we will dine together at the historic Rawls Hotel in downtown Enterprise. This Enterprise landmark is widely known for its fine architecture as well as its great food.

RIDE INFO: Rides will be on country roads with little traffic and will also explore some of the small towns in the Wiregrass area. You may select from rides that suit your team's needs - leisurely to challenging. We are excited about sharing our favorite rides and our area with you.

ACCOMMODATIONS: Holiday Inn Express will be our host hotel. They have reserved rooms for Friday & Saturday nights. Make your own reservations directly with Holiday Inn Express, Enterprise by calling (334) 347-2211. Be sure to refer to the Alabama Tandem Weekend to receive the group rate of $67.50+tax/night. Reservations must be made with the hotel by March 24, 2006 to guarantee this rate.

REGISTRATION: To register for this event, complete the downloadable registration form and return it along with your check for $100.00 per team before the March 15th Registration deadline to the address provided on the form. Please note, your lodging expenses are not included in registration.
